Elakai has two bedrooms with a large lounge, all of which overlook the plantation and 'Anayirangal' Lake below.

Tariff:
​One bedroom (Two pax)  -  Rs 20,000/- (MAP) 
Two bedrooms (Four pax)  -  Rs 30,000/- (MAP)

All rates are MAP - Modified American Plan (rates inclusive of room, breakfast and either lunch/dinner)

*It should be noted, if you book just one room, we will ensure the other room is blocked so you have the whole house to yourself.

Although we strive to accommodate early check-in whenever possible, your room availability depends on whether we have other guests already staying with us.
Do let us know when you plan to arrive in advance.

Child Policies
  • Children of all ages are welcome. 
  • Children, aged 12 and below stay free of charge (up to a maximum of 2 children); however, will be charged Rs 2500/- per night on use of an extra bed.
  • Any child aged 13 years and above will be treated as an adult with charges as applicable.
  • Any additional guest,  adult/child above 13 years, will be charged Rs 5000/- per night, inclusive of breakfast and either lunch/dinner.
  • It should be noted, we have just two extra beds on our property.​

Booking & Cancellation Policies (changes highlighted in bold) 
  • You may cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival, after which you will be charged the entire amount.
  • If you don’t show up, you will be charged the total price.
  • You will be required to do a bank transfer of 50% of the total amount payable within 3 days of enquiry to secure your booking.
  • The remaining 50% will be payable via bank transfer before 14 days of your arrival.
  • *In case of covid-related cancellation, within 14 days, bookings may be transferable within the next 6 months, depending on availability and subject to change in tariff. 

House Rules
  • While we do enjoy the odd party, please note, Elakai Munnar is not a venue for hosting large/loud parties for crowds or photo/video shoots of any kind.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside any of our rooms.  You could, however, use the designated smoking area outdoors.
  • We love pets as much as you do, but there are the odd monkeys swinging around the trees who aren't too keen on extra company.


Guests are required to show photo identification upon check-in.
